York Hotel Singapore Reviews
York Hotel singapore. We booked a triple room
and were surprised that it was actually a third bed.
Normally you can find a so-called Roll Away, before (a folding bed on wheels with a trampoline effect) in the rooms. The room was spacious completely designed with a thick carpet. The safe was in place and functioning.
The hair dryer we had to look for a while, but found it in the desk drawer, where he was screwed. The whole hotel smelled strongly of air freshener. Unfortunately, the bathroom was a bit worn and should be renewed.
The hotel requires a so-called deposit (deposit for any damage). Diessen can deposit either in cash, $ $ 50 or with a credit card. For the booked breakfast you get a voucher which you have at the entrance of the restaurant, which is located in the interior of the hotel to leave.
Assuming the Berf, Mount Elizabeth, it is down almost in the middle of Orchard Road, and may begin with his shopping. The metro network is excellent and you can with a three-day pass to explore the city without the need to take a taxi to complete. Good location and good choice. For one night we paid 200 €, which is a little excessive.

Raffles Hotel Singapore Traveler Reviews
Raffles Singapore. is a must do.
In a market that has no shortage of outstanding Hotel offerings this grand establishment certainly shines equally brightly as its more contemporary competitors.
From the moment you arrive your looked after well and truly as you would expect in a top class hotel, Check in effortless and painless with a warm friendly personalized welcome with introductions to your room attendant and even a greeting from the Hotel Manager himself.
My room I could not fault. I felt at home almost in it having occupied a Victorian era terrace house for most of my life. The suite which comprised a nice sitting room and foyer leading to a very large master bedroom was wonderful. Think of A classy restored Victorian interior and your halfway there in describing this room. The furniture was of course period with distinct local accents, I was surprised to see a CRT TV rather than a LCD display but one could not fault the room in any respect it was wonderful.
I particularly liked that Raffles have let these rooms age properly so you do get that little floor noise in places which is a reminder of home, really nothing you can fault. I liked the selection of newspapers delivered to the little foyer room each day to sit and enjoy the mornings coffee with and the hotel was not reluctant in supplying ample amounts of bottled water everytime I returned to the room.
The large bathroom was very usable with twin sinks a large tub and shower area. I liked the old fashion brass taps and shower, the marble counters and tiles also gave the bathroom a real classic touch but with every modern convenience. The Soaps and Lotions they supply are of course top notch.
Raffles is a popular spot for tourists and I liked the way that the property avoids the reception area becoming like the front courtyard at Disneyland, the surrounding buildings where full of the usual scattering of designer stores, I was a left a tad unimpressed by the Raffles Museum ( It could be done better if afforded more space ) and you cannot help but view it as simply another gift shop to compliment the highly popular and equally high priced Raffles gift store located at street level.
I visited the Long Bar and found it a great place for a few drinks, The peanut shells on the floor thing I guess give it atmosphere cannot help but think the place could survive without it though. A proper Singapore Sling is on offer and I have to say for some reason I enjoyed the Raffles house version far more than any other version I had been offered previously.
The welcome you get when you return to the hotel each time is really nice, The guys on the door in costume work really hard and are typical of the friendly folks you encounter in the hotel. I also must note the real nice welcome letter you get from the hotel when you arrive in your room its not necessary but shows class. Our room attended Alvarado? Looked after everything perfectly including a couple of out of hours pressing requests and was always cheerful everytime you seen him, a real credit to the hotel staff like this are. The call button in the room is again A very quant tribute to the buildings history.
1 press was always rapidly followed with a call back. Be sure when staying at Raffles to take time to walk around the hotel, The building is wonderful and you have to really commend the Raffles team who have resisted the urge numerous times to plonk a 20 or 30 story tower block in the middle of this great property. I could go on and on but I will leave with a simple message, Be sure to put Raffles on your list for at least one stay on a visit to Singapore it is truly worth the premium.

Fraser Suites River Valley Singapore
Fraser Suites River Valley Singapore
Were here for a month and the experience was just average.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is ok for a few days (no breakfast on weekends and public holidays) and the decor in the room is old-fashioned (really needs renovation!).
The carpet and the couch in the living room has spots (something gray with doodles and drink stains) on them. The pillows in the bedroom was a little flat, but the positive is that the maid changed the sheets every every other day. The bathroom was in need of renovation (garish lighting - not very welcoming) and the towels (every day) were a bit thin and harsh on the skin. There was no oven in our apartment but the kitchen has served its purpose. There is a microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle and a stove. Cutlery and crockery are provided. There is a washer and dryer in the complex on the balcony.
In the 6th Floor, there is the pool and the gym - they are just fine and can be quite full on weekends and in the evening! You can order food from the cafeteria if you want, but there are other options (eg, the Red Palms Café and Café cold in action, or even storage space in the Valley Point Mall next door and there are restaurants on the way to great World City Mall, where less than 10 minutes). Finally, the two shuttle runs are not bad - the Orchard Road and Suntec City out. Depending on traffic, it may be time. The drivers are friendly and helpful.

Mandarin Orchard Singapore
A quality place Mandarin Orchard Singapore
is all in all this 4.5 star hotel, just like any other bussiness-hotel in singapore.
The rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom with shower / bath-combined and fitted double sink. negative are still very confusing architecture (different towers with elevators to bring his not always possible to its target) with the hotels and the fee wifi, positive, however, are the opulent choice and quality of the buffets in the restaurant (tripple three), the pleasant adjacent bar loungiger atmosphere and quiet location behind the pool house (all on the 5th floor).
The lower floors contain a very nice shopping-mall. the situation on the orchard road is very central and thereby of course always "busy" which, depending on entitlements is a disadvantage or forward. the nearest MRT (somerset) is e.g. also just 200 meters away.
all in all the staff Wore friendly and courteous and the room cozy and also for 2 people perfectly adequate, and therefore I would recommend this hotel with a clear conscience.

Fairmont Hotels Singapore Reviews
Once again penthouse suite Once again,
great! Once I'm on the road and sometimes more in Singapore
where the Fairmont prefer simply because of the location and the optimal connection (City Hall MRT), I was able to come because of my President Club status once again to enjoy the penthouse suite. To know because I've already lived in one of the penthouse suites have thought (see previous review) and therefore the suite already but I was more than surprised when I got one of the newer suites.
Of course, back of the very finest. The mere opening of the door when it is clear that this is not just any suite.
From the large living room, extra long dining table and great pictures on the wall, it goes into the sleeping area. The bathroom is adjacent to the sleeping area and offers superb luxury with a private sauna and a large swimming area. From the balconies you can enjoy wonderful views of Marina Bay and especially at night, he is simply stunning views.
The complete suite Bose systems are installed in the living room and an extra large LCD TV the latest generation including IPOD docking station and all the trimmings is.
Fresh fruit and water each day were brought to the room again. TOP!
What was negatively:
- Was under the coffee table and I think there has never been sucked there was any possible dust and dirt. Super disgusting.
- On the wall above the curtain, there was dirt, here was probably never cleaned.
- The whirlpool tub was not working - here had the craftsmen come and fix it.
It was again a call to housekeeping, this time the person responsible for House Keeping personally looked over the house keeping staff.
The upshot was - the room was clean. The next day, a different staff blew us ..
This was also the incident einzigeste or negative thing I noticed.
The service was excellent - the only thing I have to complain every time the executive lounge which is unfortunately something that I think is too old-fashioned. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and every wish.
What is recommended is repays, the SPA area. Begrudge you a massage, just great :-) Especially after a long flight or a long journey, it is perfect to forget the stress and relaxing start to your holiday!
Those looking for a hotel and would like to explore the city - this is perfect because of its location. You can run to anywhere or take the MRT is directly adjacent to the shopping mall.
